United States Patent Applications

Crazy invento

A patent is a set of intellectual property rights granted to an individual who invents a novel and nonobvious product or process. The patent right allows its owner to exclude others from making, using, importing, selling, or offering for sale the patent during its term. In order to be granted a patent, a patent application must initially be submitted to the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO). The patent application must describe how to make and use the invention in sufficient detail. After submitting the patent application, the patent office will examine the application for compliance with United States patent law. It is often necessary to submit rebuttals in response to a patent examiner’s review.

With input and direction from the client, the law firm will create the complete patent application (the drawings, specification, and claims) and respond to office actions, file appeals, or other necessary actions in the process.
